In response to Caitlin Simmon's post:
I thought that was mindblowing. I really liked the way you referred to biblical history. It was interesting how you compared Claudius' sin of murdering his brother to the Original Sin where Cain also killed his brother due to jealousy and obviously corruption...I've never thought of it that way. The comparison of weeds with corruption was also very vivid and very effective and proved your point very well. I thought your analysis as a whole was done very well because it was supported by highly relevant quotes and brilliant comparisons.

In response to Carmen’s analysis:
After reading your analysis, I thought that the theme about Existentialism was very well supported by good quote choices and good analysis to back it up. I thought it was interesting that you portrayed Hamlet from living a religiously based life to becoming more inclined to the idea of existentialism. I think you really captured the theme of the meaning of existence in quote 5 when explaining that Hamlet’s character develops to be completely convinced that life is no more than an inevitable death and it is not a series of events based on fate but instead existentialism.
